CASE STUDY 4  :   Hand Washing

On the occasion of Hand Wash Day, a film was shown at the primary school Banskudiya. The process and benefits of hand washing with soap was shown in the film. The children saw the film with great interest. When they went back to their homes, they discussed the issue in their family.  The very next day, the children took a decision after a discussion that each of them will bring Rupee One from their home to purchase soap. The children brought money next day and they purchased soap. They washed their hands with soap prior to having mid –day meal.  Their teacher came to know about this. He appreciated the initiative  and purchased soaps from school budget.
