CASE STUDY 3 : Pyare Bachche Bal Samooh
Children group of Bargada is named ‘Pyare Bachche Bal Samooh’ . Bargada is one of the most backward villages of Hallia block. For past 4 years, AAK is implementing child centered development program in the village. The children group was formed in the village as a result of AAK’s initiatives.. They were inspired to raise fund in the children group. There are total of 25 children in the children group. Each child in the group saves Rs. 5/- per month. Till now, the total savings is of Rs.950/-. This amount is intended to be used for purchase of play material for children and for helping the poor children in raising their school fees. The children group has bought a playing bat worth Rs.350/- to play with it. Balance of Rs. 600/- is earmarked for meeting emergency needs.
